No extension folder - Even if I re-instlal.

I don't seem to have the "extension" folder in my assetto corsa root folder. Even if I re-install or verify the integrity of game cache, I don't get it. My friend has to send me his. Will this affect my abillity to mod the game as it's not my file or do I not have to worry about it?
Any way for me to actually get it? Re-installing doesn't help, what else can I try?

Thats because the extension folder relates to a mod, its not in the vanilla game.

In my case, the extension folder in my main AC install is because of a ReShade patch which adds lights.

Best way to install mods is to use Assetto Corsa Content Manager which is an alternative launcher, loads quicker, launches the game quicker and all you have to do is literally drag and drop the compressed mod into it and it installs the od into the correct folders for you.
