Racedepartment.com?
Has racedepartment.com shut down? I have been getting a "Page not found" error for the past week.

Racedepartment is working https://www.racedepartment.com/

That's interesting. I have tried with Edge, IE 11, and Chrome on three PC's here at home, on my tablet, and even tried with Chrome on my phone at Starbucks, and got "page not found" everywhere. Not sure what's going on.

Could be your DNS, maybe?
Please open a terminal window and run the command
tracert racedepartment.com
And paste the output here.

Yeah, might be problem on your end- still loads fine for myself, downloads & links operational.

Well, that really is interesting. I can connect to any other external resource except racedepartment. It worked fine two weeks ago. When I tracert to the URL it won't even find my local gateway. Looks like CenturyLink has screwed up.

Edit: Of course CenturyLink support wants the IP address of the site I can't reach. Does someone happen to have that available?

What search engine are you using? Have you tried to install a different search engine? Google Chrome or Firefox.

You mean it's not even going through 192.168.x.x (your router)?
Does it say it failed to resolve the name?

Try setting up Google DNS and see if it helps: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-change-your-pcs-dns-settings-windows-10

It's definitely a problem with CenturyLink and my modem. If I disconnect my Android phone and/or tablet from my wifi I have no problems connecting to the site through 4G with Chrome. I can successfully do a tracert using the IP address you gave me, so it's a DNS issue somewhere. I looked and nothing is being blocked inside the modem. I'm currently chatting with CenturyLink. They think it might be blocked somewhere in their system, but they don't know yet. They're "looking into it" and say they'll get back to me.

Update:
Monday a CenturyLink level 2 tech told me she would reset my modem to factory defaults. As soon as she did I lost my internet, wifi, and Prism TV service. I tried to log into the modem using the admin ID an password on the modem and only got an invalld password message.

Called support again; they told me the only fix was a new modem, which would take until today to arrive. I asked them to send a tech along with it because I didn't know the correct settings for the new modem. She said that wouldn't be necessary because I could just get the settings from the old one! You know, the one I couldn't log into to get the settings.

So the tech showed up this morning, fixed everything, and I'm back online. I mentioned the racedepartment.com issue to him. He went out to his truck and tried to access the site on the CenturyLink network with his company laptop, and got the same error I get. He agreed there's something wrong on their network and he referred it to corporate network support. We'll see if they get back to him. He left me his cell number. At least he was quite competent, but I don't know where they get the rest of their support techs.

I'll bump this once because I finally heard from my ISP after a month.

CenturyLink Network Support left me a voicemail saying that their system shows there is an invalid certificate on the website, and thart they are blocking it intentionally. Said it's that it's not their problem, and that I should contact the site's web manager. Of course since I can't access the website that's a little difficult to do.

This is BS. Certificates are not ISPs responsibility to validate. And besides, RDs certificate is valid, just checked.

Yes, my ISP can't see any reason to block RD's site either. I hope you can change ISP, because your ISP is obviously not doing their job correctly.

I agree with you. Unfortunately at present my only other option for high-speed internet is Comcast, and after my previous experiences with Comcast I'd rather go without broadband than ever use them again.

And it took me two months and two modems before they would even admit that it wasn't my local hardware. And then only because their service tech discovered even he couldn't access the site through the Comcast network.

Man that's savage. Whoever left the voicemail should be fired for incompetence. Good luck to ya mate.
