Also I noticed some setups from the market have 1/4 traction on spa for example.. I thought cars were faster without ESP
Race based TC and ABS systems are a whole different animal than their street based cousins. A car with systems designed for the track will be faster than those without. Some street based systems are even approaching that level.
with TC thats sort of ok. but on a track, without abs you can brake more and have more control of the car, just need to know the car.
No its not. If TC starts at level 1 meaning full TC and every TC number you go up, decreases the TC or increases the slip.
You can test it for yourself. Get in the Zonda R- put TC to 1 see how much tyre slip you get, then put it on level 12 and see how much tyre slip you get, its more at level 12.
Tnx a lot, is it the same with ABS?
ABS on 1 will stop them from locking up more and let's say ABS on 7/10 will only lock up on the last moments?
ABS 0 = CAR WILL LOCK UP AND SLIP
ABS 1= ABS ENGAGED, then you know how it works.
if anyone thinks that im not ok download any mod car for assetto, put abs on cero and push brakes while going fast. engine will shut down, thats on real life too. bye!
i think that this guy is factually correct and you do in fact lock up your car if ABS is at 0.
Also the guy you are responding to is kind of wrong as he misses the point of the question. And confirms a wrong answer. ... we can blame Ferrari for all this confusion tbh.
