Assetto Corsa

İstatistiklere Bak:
Not even my RTX 2060 can deliver stable framerate...
I'm having an issue where my computer is using the most of my GPU to render graphics in Assetto Corsa, yet I still can't maintain a stable 60 fps at 1080p, and I stagger at around 45-55. My regular graphics settings are only at low reflection and shadow quality (256^2 reflections, 1024^2 shadows).

After doing some experiments with a 20-car grid, I learned that Assetto puts more strain on my card when there are more unique cars, rather than all cars being the exact same model.

I've used CSP to lower the level of detail and applied plenty of GPU-related optimisations, but not much is changing. Is there a reasonable fix behind this? It's still relatively new and I'm not looking to upgrade it right now.

Benchmark doesn't work, "invalid configuration"
What CSP version are you on? There was an issue with a couple versions and the benchmark, try running a practice session first then run the benchmark.
Thanks. Could you disable CSP (settings>custom shaders patch>general patch settings - disable 'shaders patch') and report your benchmark results after that? Trying to isolate where the issue lies.
Thanks. Ok can you open the registry editor app (type 'regedit' into the Windows search bar) and find the following path - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\FTH\State:

Does asc.exe show there? (I doubt it is but just good to check).
About 2 years ago ac kill my rtx 2070 mostly for csp, sol and other "filters" run maxed out without problem, but the game begin to ctd, with the warning gpu oc, temps rise from 68°c to 80°c then my gpu ctd in every game.

try to run the game without cm, uninstall sol, csp and low the quality from the kunos launcher and voila up to 300fps

Sorry but that is most likely completely unrelated to the use of any of those mods, the sheer numbers of people using them with no failure like you've described supports this. I've been running my GPU (2080) for the past 2.5yrs at temps between 72°c to 85°c virtually everyday with AC and it's still running strong.

And why would you want to run the game at 300fps at the expense of visual quality?

It's not there, but BeamNG is for some reason...
That's good (apart from BeamNG being there). It's Windows 'naughty list' for programs that crash repeatedly. If they end up there Windows restricts their performance. Do you have discord? I can direct you to the AC Custom Shaders group, a lot of very knowledgeable people there including some involved in contributing to both CSP and CM so they know their stuff about AC.

Yeah, you're gonna laugh. I was banned from that server. That's why I made a post here, hoping to find a solution.
Haha yeah ok that won't help. Have you checked your render stats in game? What percentage does the Main_t sit at? Also the in game csp render stats, what are they showing?

i see you are using the experimental 8x antialiasing. how about turning it down to 4x or 2x?
I see no setting that would drop performance so much, if it's not the FTH (look into whitelisting beam it could smooth the game out a bit) it's drivers. Do a clean install of GPU drivers, (use DDU or similar soft to properly clean up before installing fresh drivers).

Other things that come to mind is power level - somehow if AC is flagged into power saving mode it could drop framerates to 30-40fps. There are a few places to check, but try to force "maximum performance" for AC in Nvidia settings, which shoud override other places.

My stats on Monza with one car, no mods and empty HUD:
Kunos https://puu.sh/IDGFp/997726181d.png - Main_T ranges from 32% to 40%
CSP https://puu.sh/IDGFG/7aa32016ab.png - The 111.1% GPU is caused by MSI Afterburner bugging tf out or something, not sure why. The Game Bar's monitor on the left has more reasonable measurements.

MSAA is already set to 4x.
