BMW E46 M3

Hey guys, can you plz link me the most realistic BMW E46 M3 mod cars in assetto corsa. Oem cars, not modified or drift or wtc etc. Thanks in advance

I downloaded, checked if it uses borrowed physics, turns out it does. If you want to drive a car with Z4 physics you might as well drive Z4. E46 M3 is one of my favorite road-going cars but I'll stick with Kunos BMW's unless/until there is a mod of real quality

Thanks Hoksu, I suspected as much. There’s few mods out there with accurate physics unfortunately, I’ve yet to find an E46 M3 that’s of decent quality.

I often wonder about this. How does one go about checking if the physics of a car are realistic or if they are just a copy and paste job from another model?

A beautifully detailed car mod is always great but if the physics don't echo the real life counterpart, then what's the point of driving it in a sim.

That's odd, on the download page it says "- Physics Credits Me andNizar Razzouk"

I just checked it too, physics are 100% match to Z4.

To check (you may need the paid version of CM) go to the content tab in CM, click on the car you want to check and then click on the ‘analyize’ button. It will give you info on the cars build detail. This one has a few things against it that foul the AC pipeline. But the critical factor is ‘enjoyment’. If you enjoy the car then no harm (unless they steal assets etc from another modder ha).

Ah I see MNBA are on this list. Probably due to borrowed physics and poor optimisation.

Nice! I'll have to check all 3rd party mods like this from now on. Realism is more important than just how good a car looks in AC imo.

WOW thanks for all the comments guys, I was away and didnt get a chance to check till now. Unfortunate about the Z4 physics car. I built a sim rig to test and tune and hone my skills on an E46 M3 as thats my track car. Its such a popular track car, hopefully someone will come through with a proper physics version, I cant wait...
