Broken mod if the head shows up in first person perspective.

You can make a car config and remove the head with this excellent guide: https://www.nutrimatic.cc/assetto-corsa/how-to-change-the-driver-model-using-csp/#more-1518

I was actually aware of that guide, but i could not find the patch apps given in cm and elsewhere nor the objects inspector app.
fyi i am on the 0.1.60 csp version.
Is there something i can do to activate those apps? I only got the developer apps besides the standard ones and some modded ones.

they come with CSP. enable them somewhere in CSP settings.

Thanks for the info. It was actually part of the GUI csp extension that i had disabled^^
However, following the nutrimatic guide the guilllotine method doesn't work.

It definitely works as I use it myself. You must be doing something wrong.

I used the object inspector to identify the parts that include the head part and then i edited the driver3d.ini after i unpacked the data of a certain car. However, that car already had 2 hide object lines(NAME=DRIVER:HELMET & NAME=DRIVER:GEO_Driver_FACE) with the right driver helmet type(default one, just reskinned). Ingame, i can see the driver's eyes from an onboard pov and when i turn with neckfx around i can spot the drivers' head and helmet. For some reason, that didnt seem to do it. How did you make yours work?

You are not supposed to unpack the cars data. You make a car config and edit that to remove the helmet, just as the guide explains. Read it again.

I tried that as well but did not make it. However, isn't the driver3d.ini that is already there the same way of doing it? Just has some more lines depending on the modded car. I'll look further into it.

If the Driver3D.ini was made properly, you wouldn't be stuck with a driver head that is showing in first person, in the first place...
