My new G29 is verrrrrry hard to turn.
It's very tight and stiff, anyway to make it a little looser? I don't know which setting to tweak and I don't want to mess anything up. This is my first wheel, by the way. Hence why I'm nervous.

If anyone has any ideas please tell me! :)

Set it on controller overall settings 0 damper and 0 spring... Try that.

My TX is extremely heavy in AC. The only way I found to lighten it was to turn down the gain.

You mean like centering spring?
I have a weird issue with my wheel caused by windows 10 where it'll be almost impossible to turn when I first plug it in. I have to open "setup USB game controllers" and then click on properties. This unlocks the wheels rotation and brings it back to normal. This also has to be done with steam closed or it might cause FFB issues.

Thanks for the suggestion all. I'll look at all of these and see what happens! :D

Not sure if you got your wheel setup the way you want, try the below post scroll down for settings.

Logitech Gaming Software, has all the adjustments you'll need to get the feel you want from your wheel.

I find that all settings set to between 40%-50% are pretty good for Assetto, to replicate the feel of power steering but still maintain road feel and what the front wheels are doing.

Where would I find those settings, though?

The FFB is not the same for every car and can be adjusted whilst on track using the NUM + and NUM - and once set, it saves it for that car. So you could just turn down the FFB on a per car basis.

Its not too difficult to setup wheels in AC, there is a basic set of things you should do.

In the Logitech profile software zero/turn off both damper and centre spring- put it to zero because AC handles these on a per car basis. Also make sure to point the profile software to acs.exe as that is the main game, don't point it to assettocorsa.exe as that's the launcher and your settings won't apply to the game.

In AC settings, put FFB gain to 85%, minimum force to 5-8%. Kerb, slip and road - set to your preferences.

Try that and see how it goes.

i have the same wheel with the ffb set to like 30-50 percent and its really just personal preference with mine being that i dont wanna feel like im turning a building with the amount of force im putting into it. its really just supposed to tell you how the car is behaving, for example if its feeling a bit tight in a corner you're nearing the grip limit, if it gets loose and you're still turning pretty fast it probably means your front tires lost its grip and is understeering
