That said, you might need to be a professional/alien-level driver to beat AI in everything with 100%.
...don't expect to win that. Seriously: I have always been of the oppinion, this race was put in there to teach players humility and racecraft. Some of which is to pick your dueling-partners/opponents wisely. Also: there is such a thing as multi-class racing (which A.Cs AI has a few problems with).
You generally don't race cars for position that are competing in a vastly different performance-tier / "race-class".
Yep. Once people get over the "must collect all" syndrome they can start to actually enjoy the driving and racing at suitable level.
I was watching an inside sim racing vid the other day commenting on the ps4 and how higher levels are impossible to get first or 3rd. If you are racing you get the poistion you earned, get better, it's not a hand out.
With that and practice you will be able to easily beat 100% ai in all cars on all tracks in the game. In fact start with a road car in which you don't have to really worry about a bunch of adjustments on your car.
It isn't impossible or even hard really, it just takes time patience and work.
PS4 reviewers are maybe more used to the "gaming" where difficulty is adjusted to some average gamer and they lack understanding the difference to simulations where difficulty level is from real-life.
For example, one achievement is for anyone able to beat Jim Clark's time at Monza with Lotus 49: getting that requires beating legendary driver's time on same car on same track so that needs level of skill found in professional racing. If someone gives bad review because achievement is "hard to get" it is entirely missing the point about it.
