Is it possible to beat the 100% strength opponent?
I can't do it in career mode completely

Judging by how people drive online, not possible for the vast majority of players.

AI is not equally fast on all cars. On some cars/tracks it is easier to beat AI.
That said, you might need to be a professional/alien-level driver to beat AI in everything with 100%.
there is that one early drace where you compete in an E30 against a modern-day M3/M4 on the Nürburgring-GP...

...don't expect to win that. Seriously: I have always been of the oppinion, this race was put in there to teach players humility and racecraft. Some of which is to pick your dueling-partners/opponents wisely. Also: there is such a thing as multi-class racing (which A.Cs AI has a few problems with).

You generally don't race cars for position that are competing in a vastly different performance-tier / "race-class".

Yep. Once people get over the "must collect all" syndrome they can start to actually enjoy the driving and racing at suitable level.

Absolutely. I am convinced that almost all the negative ratings AC has on the store front come as a result of the aforementioned attitude.

I was watching an inside sim racing vid the other day commenting on the ps4 and how higher levels are impossible to get first or 3rd. If you are racing you get the poistion you earned, get better, it's not a hand out.

I raced after a long pause GT4 cars in Porsche at 95% AI, beat them at Spa and Red Bull Ring, got beaten at Imola. Every 1% then is huge difference but I still think that even 100% isn't enough for alien sim heads among us.

I think it depends on where you are racing them. In Nordschleife for example I can beat an RT12r at 100% using a Time Attack Supra. I doubt I can beat it on other tracks.

In career mode, some of the events are not intended to be "beaten" by getting first place.

I've found 100% AI difficulty is a touch too easy in quite a few combinations, although I've not touched the mess that is career mode.

Start by picking one car and one track, also increase your technical knowledge of race car driving and setup...

With that and practice you will be able to easily beat 100% ai in all cars on all tracks in the game. In fact start with a road car in which you don't have to really worry about a bunch of adjustments on your car.

It isn't impossible or even hard really, it just takes time patience and work.

It's really easy. Give the AI a Trueno, and yourself a 458. Done! :D

Well i usually drive at 95-98. Slow equivalent cars are easier to beat with 100 percent but if i drive for example with and against gt3 cars at 95 i really have to push and flat the ♥♥♥♥ out sometimes ( depending on the track). that's so far my experience.

PS4 reviewers are maybe more used to the "gaming" where difficulty is adjusted to some average gamer and they lack understanding the difference to simulations where difficulty level is from real-life.

For example, one achievement is for anyone able to beat Jim Clark's time at Monza with Lotus 49: getting that requires beating legendary driver's time on same car on same track so that needs level of skill found in professional racing. If someone gives bad review because achievement is "hard to get" it is entirely missing the point about it.

yep its possible i beat them in F1 ;)
