Is there any way to mix a little external sound into the cockpit?
The external sounds are really nice. In the cockpit it can become a little boring though.
So, I was wondering if there is any way to mix a little external sound into the interior cockpit?
There a mod or something to do that?

Just imagine I'm driving and I wind the window down, :) I should be able to hear a little more from outside.

Some places in some tracks you do get a little from echo, but I'd like a lot more.

The internal sounds still seem way to thin or far too much 50 hz rumble for me. The exhaust is behind the driver so at best your hear medium to lower mids considering typically we are inside surrounded by steel, carbon fibre, glass and RACE HELMET. When you are in the cockpit you wont hear the same sounds as sitting directly behind your car. The internal sounds should be muffled as in RL !

For me I found the best thing to do is wear ear plugs and headphones Or go with safety headphones and your speaker system. Not prefect but much closer to the real thing.

I will give you that if you like the outside audio Kunos should allow drivers to decide which they like to hear.

Adding this link to Porsche 918 audio. Listen for yourself such beautidul midrange sounds outside. Im sure inside is quite muffled

OK with my ROG High Def Audio adjustments I made EQ adjustments for more RL cockpit sound. Biggest issue was at 1K. Pull 1k right down.
Everything from 2K up to 16k set flat.
125hz - 500hz boosted + 6db
62hz lowered - 6db
31hz bd flat to 6bd boost

Also selected audio compression ( loudness equalization )

also playing with some very mild/soft enviroment effects though I will probably leave this off in the end. Still experimenting.
