no exterior sound of modded cars

Since the last update all my modded cars have no exterior sound... someone has an idea how to restore the sounds ?

The FMod audio engine which Assetto Corsa uses was heavly updated with the new 1.9 patch, it is for Modders to keep their content up to date when new updates are released for assetto corsa.
The only thing you can do now is to wait for modders to update their mods.

As long as you drive from cockpit, it's nothing you have to worry about. And for the most mods, external sound is existent at replays :)
And BTW, that's not the only game, that break some mods on update (until modders fix it)

Im having the same problem, Oh well I usually drive in cockpit view anyways, but this is still annoying...

This was in another thread somewhere i had no sound using any view even vanilla cars on vanilla track. And some one said To fix delete Assetto Corsa folder in documents and verify integrity of game cache. I didn't lose any mods and sound issues are all fixed. (only tried couple of mods) But it was like first time startup so had to reset everything to how i had it before update and career progress lost i think but i wasn"t far into career any way so no major drama for me. Mabye if had i not deleted folder from documents it would be fine (unsure i should have tried verify integrity of cache first without deleting document folder)

I found a fix to get the sound of mod cars work again.
But the Original Cars dont work with the fix.
So you must exchange these files, when you play with mod cars or with the originals.
IMPORTANT: backup for this the original files !!
When you lost the files, then repair the files over the steam repair option.

Older versions from the fix exist too.
The new fix is for the new 1.9 Version and containe 2 files.

Another option back to version 1.8.1 and everything returns to normal

join the assetto corsa touge community and get the Get Nutz Car Pack, they have an SFX switcher which fixes this problem :)

Mods are `fixed` by their creators, if they aren't updated fix them yourself using Assetto Corsa Content Manager or Assetto Corsa Car Tuner apps from racedepartment and just fix the sounds manually- else you have to wait for the modder to do it.
