FORCE FEEDBACK PROBLEM
So i play assetto for quite some time. Suddenly my force feedback bugs out. (all my drivers are up to date) when i drive and i am below half RPM in any car the force feedback stops working and the wheel wants to go 1 side or another. However when i go back above half RPM my force feedback works as it should. (this only happens in AC, my F1 games PC2 and Beamng work perfectly) so its a thing about assetto corsa not my wheel.

It will help if you mention things like what wheel it is, any changes you've made to the game etc.

I have a g29, i have only done car,map and graphics mods. no FFB changes in over a year. it just happened suddenly. I also reinstalled the game and it didnt work. I couldnt find anyone talking about my issue. The wierd thing is that its about my rpms dropping bellow half of the limit. (so if i have a engine revving to 9k, the FFB will work perfect above 4,5k but below 4,5k my wheel starts turning to a side itself and FBB doesnt work. Then i rev up above 4,5k and suddenly it works perfect again) i have no idea how this can even happen.
this is not mod related, i used a Kunos car and a Kunos map and it still did this THING

Pretty bizzare issue, i think it might be a hardware or driver problem related to LEDs on the steering wheel.

I haven't used them personally but there should be a few places to disable them (or enable if they are disabled). One place is in content manager in CSP settings under "LOGITECH G27"
There is also other LED setting under Assetto Corsa -> Fanatec (it should not be for you but who knows what broke)

Lastly definitely try to tweak settings inside logitech own drivers.

Besides the LEDs i cant think of anything else that would trigger at half rpm, mods or not.
So if it does not help i'd do the usuall, changing USB ports and driver reinstallation, possibly with different driver version, also try different console modes (there should be a switch on the wheel for that)

Copied from another thread.

Leave Ghub settings as default. You can import the exe into ghub if you like, but again, leave the settings as default.

Close Ghub.

Make sure your wheel is set to PS4 mode.

Calibrate Wheel in Windows Devices and printers

Restart Windows

Start Ghub.

Download and open Content Manager.
https://assettocorsa.club/content-manager.html

Calibrate and configure wheel inside CM.

Use Youtube to try different FFB settings. Its personal preference once you have the wheel functioning as it should.

Its seems wheels (the low and mid range stuff atleast) are the new printers. A pain to setup and once you do, its pure luck as to whether or not things will work as intended after a restart.

If you enjoy using a wheel a can afford an upgrade, jump into the Fanatec etc range and leave Logitech behind. This is my plan once my place of living sitchu changes.

Disabling Logitech G27 extension from csp worked for me
