I disable hyper threads and nothing. Re installed Nvidia drive and nothing. not sure what else to try.
singleplayer was always ok, as much as i remember.
...also the people in the game were much faster than me. i have no explanation for that. like they have 200bhp more or something like that.
Processes of removing everything that I don't need and making sure all the apps that I dont need don't run in the background. Normally I would go straight to Nvidia and re-download the drivers I need, this time I did not. I went and installed steam and assetto corsa. I installed the fanatec driver. So all I have installed on my fresh windows install is fanatec driver, steam, and assetto corsa. I ran the game with wheel and have not had any stuttering, it is working like a dream, the only problem is I can't pinpoint exactly what the problem was. The biggest difference was I didnot download the Nvidia driver. Once again not 100% if that is the problem. Anyways it's working great now. I'm afraid to install anything else though lol.
I know this is old but THANK YOU. I was going insane... I would get excellent framerates except for a stutter at completely random intervals, even with no other cars or audience in view. I adjusted every setting I could think of in CM but lowering replay quality instantly fixed it. My Steam library is on a Samsung 970 SSD and my specs are fairly beefy so I have no idea why this fixed it but I'm glad it did.
