Rear end issues with Race Sim Studio GTN cars
So i have noticed that the RSS GTN cars keep losing the rear when braking in a straight line, I thought it was my bad driving but then i tried the cars in the RSS GT pack and the default GT cars and none of them did this.

Does anyone else notice this with the GTN cars and if so how do you counter it, is there a brake or suspension setting I can change?

Spinning out on braking is often caused by the rear tires locking.

If that's the case (you may be able to confirm from a replay), then try moving the brake bias further forward.

I tried that, didnt really help much, I really wish someone who has tried this mod can tell me exactly what im doing wrong.

I have tried multiple other GT cars, from RSS, URD and vanilla and not one of them loses the rear during braking.

So either:
a) both real world Ferrari/Porsche NGT cars were really bad to drive
b) the guys at RSS have screwed up their mod
c) the my mod files are corrupted (although i did DL them fresh)

Someone please help as this is one of my favourite cars and I just cant enjoy it

You aren't feeling the rear ends on those cars, the rear tires get very hot even more on the porsche you have to have a softer rear end or get used to that. They are very edgy but I find them nice to drive.

Its not hot tyres, these are sliding straight out of the pits. So what exactly do i alter to make the rear softer?

I am not great with suspension setups.

I really think something is wrong somewhere...why do NONE of the other cars show this behaviour?

I had this exact problem when I bought the pack about 2 years ago and never drove them much because of it. Love the RSS GT pack and I love this era of 911 and 360 but was really disappointed with the GTN pack.

Trying to tune it out didn't help much either but forward brake bias, softer rear suspension and increasing coast lock and bliping generously on downshifts should improve things.

It seems to have sorted itself, I posted this over at the Racedepartment forum and of the the RSS guys asked me to make a video showing the issue, and as soon as i started recording the car behaved itself

I did notice that you have to blip the throttle on the RSS GT/GTN cars when downshifting. If I didn't do this, I was noticing a similar behavior. I have no idea if this helps or means anything :)

Dont have this, but its sounds similar to MP4 just let go little of throttle in long turns makes the rear wave hello besides you.
May differential settings help as mentioned above.
but if its no autoblip throttle im sure you felt this irl too if not revmeet the drivetrain kinda "sucks up" the car in a unpleasant way, so try not downshift with too big rev difference (but thats how i drive and probly you as it feels natural in racing, or else try get a good revmeet
so the transition dont get so harsh.
