Can't start career mode?

I don't really know what is wrong, but my career mode doesn't have a start button? Like i just see red squares with vehicle classes but how do I actually start it... am I being stupid?

I solved it by changing the resolution, restart the game, start a race, and changing back to my desired resolution. Don't know if I was lucky tho...

yeah but you can't click on N1 if the squares are red like that, it needs to load images for them to be clickable

hmm... sometimes i have to wait a bit, until the career mode loads up. maybe try and wait a bit
... it displays "loading..." message for up to 30 seconds

you will be amazed what it can do

all the car sorting options custom races and you can install mods by just dragging them into the window and it all just works.

Afair game uses HTML for the launcher, so something can be broken with it on that pc, or with permissions antivirus etc.

Try running steam file verification, make sure redistributables got installed properly during installation etc. I'd also try it without connection to the interned...

But otherwise the game is being actively patched by community for a while now, as Nero mentions 4 years ago.

read your launcher logs in your documents folder. might be a clue in there.
also try using the main menu first and using english
