Content Manager keeps saying "Race cancelled"

Every time I try to launch a race with any configuration of track + car it just says Race cancelled or with the official ui it just boots me back to the configuration

I've done everything I can think of just short of factory resetting my computer

I have:
Forced 32 bit
Checked my resolution and refresh rate
uninstalled then reinstalled the game
performed as thorough of an uninstall as I could (deleting assetto corsa in documents and all leftover items in common, I couldn't find anything in appdata)
Completely removed all mods then launching the game through the official ui
Used stock cars and stock tracks
Reinstalled my gpu drivers to the latest optional branch then the latest recommended branch (I'm using AMD)
I tried every single launch option from content manager

I am currently back where I started, with all the mods back in but I have changed my launch method to the steam game starter.

I have no idea what I'm doing and the official kunos forums won't let me post a thread or even look at any thread

Race cancelled in CM usually means there is an error on a item it is trying to load. Can happen quite a bit on older mods ie: outdated tyre model, track issue etc. U remove or try to repair(if possible) the car/track and it works. The fact you are getting it on all track and car combos would point to something like the weather patch, something generic in the settings. I would also consider antivirus could be blocking CM?. You might be better to find them on Discord and see if the regular users can help.

Some button (keyboard, mouse, controller(s)) might be pressed/active and canceling your race loading. Double-check all your inputs.

Use google search lots of solutions to try
logging in to steam? try running CM in admin mode

When you have installed AC you have to run the game once before installing CM / mods

Have you tried, turning it off and then turning it back on again??

Ah wow this is an old one, yea I just had to use an older amd gpu driver, like 6 months earlier than latest. Kinda sucks but I had to install each driver and try it out one by one until it worked
