Clutch acts like gas pedal

Hi,
dose anyone know how to fix this issue? Its like my gas and clutch pedals are combined, but when I go in to G Hub it says that the combined option is off.

I have the same problem. But the other way around clutch peddle dose nothing, but registers when I throttle off in game.
So I can't change gear very often, just lots of crunching. And that's on 'pro' setting.
Content manager can't even sort it out.

Are you guys using xinput or directinput? XInput should work and you can map it when using a custom wheel preset (not the one pre-configured for your specific device).

What's that ?. Obviously more than a USB cable plugged in.
My clutch works in the options set up, wasn't sure about the sliders. tried 0% - 100% , red line flying across, but nothing in game. And tried 20% - 50%, red line working but still nothing in game.
Main game settings at 'pro' so should not still be auto clutch. Everything else is set up through Content Manager. I'm saying it's auto clutch because the only time I see any blue line on the peddles app is when i completely let off the accelerator.
Looked at windows devices, all says it's working properly.
I've got the H shifter but it's almost useless with no working clutch.

This may be a bit of a random question, but have either of you who are having the issue recently played Project Cars 2 (or another game on the Madness Engine)? I had a similar issue to yours a couple of months back with my G29, and it turned out that the problem was that PC2 (more specifically the Madness Engine which PC2 is based on) would change the registry values in the wheel software when the game detected the wheel. I apologize if that isn't the clearest explanation (this thread has some more detailed information: https://forum.reizastudios.com/threads/it-looks-like-the-madness-engine-is-changing-registry-values-for-g29.9986/), but basically what you need to do is change the registry values back to what they were originally when you installed the software for your wheel. For all I know your issue could be caused by something completely different, but I figured I'd put this out there since I had a very similar issue that I was able to fix by following the instructions in the thread I linked above.

I had my settings wrong, I missed a box 'novice intermediate or pro'. clutch working in pro now.
Now I have other problems, Content Manger will not recognise my H-shifter now.
Dose my head in !. What's next weeks problem going be !!.. Ahhhhhh

Good to hear you find a solution for the gas clutch.
For the gearing though... weird.

What i would suggest you to do is to use content manager as much as you want for anything you want... BUT start assetto as normal through steam, go make all the settings/options you can do in the game itself as you like them. Then close the game and do the "extra" settings in content manager.

Not going to lie, CM is trash, i never use it, and i'd rather not use it. Plugins/mods that you have on CM will still load if you start assetto through steam.

Hi got it sorted now. The next thing that happened was black sky. So that was time to reinstall the game, Content manager, shaders patch and sol. Couldn't have done it without YouTube, followed it to the letter and now seems to work well.

"Car-specific controls" drop down box in the drive tab of Content Manager always catches me out whenever I change controllers. Check to see what you have set up in those selected saved presets.
