Port forwarding (need help)

Hi,
I have a sky Q hub broadband router. I have tried many times to forward the required ports so i can host a server but i can never get it to work. When i start the server it still doesn't appear.
Can anyone help by sending me some sort of instructions.

Check if your ports are trully open, for example software from portforward.com is good (web port checkers can be bad for this).
If not many things can be wrong, from windows firewall to ISP blocking (which in some cases can be opened by request). Also portforward should have your router in the database so you can read up on that too.
