Because it is an iconic U.S. track and a great layout. If kunos wants to sell more AC to the huge American sim enthusiast audience they need to add more tracks that people have seen and heard of here.
Sure, I'd probably pick Sebring over this, but I am still happy to have Monterey, and of course I'd love a historic Le Mans(1970s would be fine), or Targa Florio

We have Laguna Seca in PC2 and iRacing. Tough to get exited about it :(

Well, I don't have neither pCars2 nor iRacing, and last time I raced Laguna Seca was in Gran Turismo 2. I am excited.

I'm sure others are more excited for Laguna than I. I've driven it a bunch in iRacing and have the AC Laguna third-party mod which is actually really great, but still nice to have an official scanned release from Kunos. I'm spoiled though in that I also go to Laguna several times a year in my real track car for the ocaissional track day. Now if we could only get someone to go up a little further north to scan Thunderhill Raceway. Please for the love of all that is holy...I need Thunderhill!!!

cant wait!! :) im also little bit happy that this is the last dlc, because now they start working on assetto corsa 2. with 10 times more budget and a bigger team. AC2 will blow us away YAAAAY

Who said this is the last DLC? Weren't they supposed to release the BMW M6 GT, the Lamborghini Asterion and Lamborghini Veneno?

they sayed that :) last dlc, no m6, ac is finished. now a new project(ac2 probably). :)

I remember the M6 got cancelled because of license stuff, the Veneno got replaced with the Performante. I can't recall they said this will be the last DLC, would like to see a soure Brainspasm.
