does anybody know what this line in the Fanatec FW-Error.log means ?

The last part = Directinput error, device not registering. Be sure you have DL the proper driver from Fanatec as there is both 32x & 64x depending on your OS. Verify the game files. USB2 socket is recommended, and do not use a USB hub.

You can file a report to A/C and/or Fanatec support with your error log, they may be able to pinpoint the problem.

i did a fresh install from Assetto Corsa (same error)
the base v2.5 is connectet on a usb 3.0/2.0 port direct on the mainboard.
newest driver installed but only the 64bit (my system is win7 ultimate 64bit)

danke für Ihre Antwort. Ich kann an dieser Stelle keinen Hardwaredefekt erkennen, tut mir leid. Bitte übergeben Sie doch die Log.files den jeweiligen Spielehersteller. Genau die müssten wissen durch was das kommen kann bzw. ausgelöst wird. Unsere Geräte werden einzig und allein über "Direct Input" angesteuert, daher kann dieses Fehler nicht durch unsere Hardware ausgelöst werden.


Ich würde mich aber sehr freuen, wenn Sie mich bezüglich diesem Thema ein Update geben könnten, sobald Sie eine Antwort vom Spielehersteller haben.

Is A/C the only title you are having problems with?

When you un-install A/C, it will not remove the saved files or presets in My Documents. There you will find within the Assetto Corsa folder a sub-folder ‘cfg’ (configuration). Within that one you should find wheel presets and saves. It’s possible a corrupt file could cause the problem. You can move or rename that folder, the game will create a new on launch at default settings.

i renamed the Folder in Documents and in Steam folder so its a clean install.

The problems are in A/C and Project Cars 2 but not in Raceroom and rFactor2.

Did you solve this already? I have the exact same error log from pcars2

If your wheel buttons and paddles aren't working it's probably because of this.
