xbox controller with VR

I’m having a issue where the game boot properly and I can get Vr to work where I can look around in the car and everything but I can’t get the menus to work and my xbox one controller won’t work at all. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

I was thrown by this at first too. You have to use your mouse to select things in the menus. There’s a little yellow dot that’s the mouse pointer. The controller will work when you actually start driving.

I doubt he is using VR for immersion- he probably just enjoys a hot sweaty box on his face, I know I do.

Actually im going to pick up a wheel and pedals tommorow to use. im just using a controller for the time being. Was to excited to wait so i just used a controller.
