Steering wheel mod g27 Force feedback?
I was thinging of buying a racing wheel and put it on my g27. But I was wondering if it can brake my Force feedback because it may be heavier then my stock g27 steering wheel. Has anybody some experience with this? Or can help me out?

It's a common mod to do, but it will make the FFB weaker if you put a larger/heavier wheel rim on the base, considerably weaker in some cases. That means you may turn the FFB up to try to compensate which will work the base unit harder, causing more heat/wear.

Okay thanks, so if I dont put a heavy steering wheel on it, it will be fine? ( I use it to drift)

it is all about mass and inertia. You will be best-advised to keep the weight down as much as possible.

I have 2 quick release wheels that I use on my G25. One was a cheap £20 wheel that I bought just to make sure it would work ok, and it does very well. So I bought another suede wheel which was about £50.

I've just measured and weighed my wheels.

The original G25 wheel is 270mm in diameter and weighs 681g no QR adapter.
The cheap wheel is 315mm in diameter and weighs 778g including QR adapter.
The suede wheel is 285mm in diameter and weighs 823g including QR adapter.

I use the big wheel for older cars and use manual stick shift and the suede for newer cars and paddle shift.
I was contemplating getting a new wheel that you could buy new wheels for like the Thrustmaster T300 RS but it worked out to be a LOT of money with the extra wheels so I decided to try changing my G25.
If the worst happened it would mean buying a new wheel, which I was thinking about anyway.
As it turned out it's the best thing I could have done, should have done it years ago. I've had my wheel for nealy 8 years so if had broke I've got my moneys worth out of it.

So many thanks for you reaction!! Can you send me a link or name of the wheels you use so i can maybe buy them to? A bit more then 800 grams seems okay to me.

I can't find the cheap wheel but here is a link to the suede one.

The cheap wheel is not leather and doesn't feel as nice as the original or the suede one.

Looks sick bit im more searching for this : https://www.driftworks.com/driftworks-basics-350mm-suede-steering-wheel-46612.html

I dont know how heavy it is, probably about 1 kg. Thats what sucks because I dont want to screw up my ffb
As I said before: mass and inertia. As long as the majority of the weight sits in the hub (center), you would not notice that much of a difference.

Same problem with aftermarket wheels on real cars. Those blingy, over-sized chrome-plated wheels usually cost you acceleration and top-speed, because you introduce more weight - and most of it sits near the (now bigger) outside circle. This is the mass which will cause you the big power-draw because of inertia.
