Steering wheel has no response in game
I set up my wheel in the options menu, using the in game setup and when I go to race the car won't move. The wheel responded to all pedals and buttons in the menu, but not when I'm racing.

I've tried looking online and trying various solutions but nothing is working. I tried manually binding the wheel and that didn't change anything. Even my Xbox controller doesn't work.

I'm using a Logitech GT driving force wheel, which it even recognises in the options and settings.

If anyone has any ideas to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated, or I'll have to get a refund!

I'm thinking it could be because I don't have a clutch binded so can't change into 1st gear, or does the game change gear without the need for a clutch if it's not binded?

This happened to me last night, really confused me.
Wheel works in menus, not in game.
I fixed it by manually configuring my wheel, but have no idea why it happened, I see you say you already config'd your wheel manually, I wish I could help more.
I have a Thrustmaster T300 - Steps I took to fix it.
Chose the Thrustmaster T500 profile, then manually config's the inputs and saved the profile.
If anyone else has any ideas that would be great, maybe try loading a wheel profile like I did that isn't your exact wheel but similar and go from there?

Not sure about this but open Steam>Settings>Controller>General controller settings> and uncheck everything. (unless you need those for another controller or such)

Those options have been known to cause havoc here and there.

Right click on the game in steam library and choose properties. "Steam Input Per-Game Setting" change 'Use your Global Steam Input settings to "Force Off".

Some have reported this setting can change on its own when Steam client updates.

Hello disable your controler in steam big picture if you use it.

It worked! Awesome thanks for everyone's help. I changed the options in steam for controllers and in AC properties. I also used the g27 (no h shifter) pre load and then the custom wizard, in the games controller settings, either part or all of that did the trick! Thanks again 😁

It seems like I spoke too soon. I tested the wheel in flatscreen mode and it worked. However, the problem is in vr mode only.

So the wheel works fine in flatscreen, and doesn't in vr, I just sit in the car and nothing happens.

Any further ideas?? I'm using a rift s
