Unlocking Cars Question

I don't mind spoilers for a racing game. I've playing the Gran Turismo series, as well as Total Immersion Racing. I just bought Assetto Corsa on Steam's Summer Sale, and noticed for Practice Drives that there's a limited number of cars available. Do more cars unlock as you progress through Career Mode? Thank you for your help!

No, in anything outside of career and special events you can drive whatever you like. And on those modes it's not "unlocking", per se, just that you get a certain car for each race/event.

You will need to purchase some DLC cars/packs to increase your choices.
