My bias opinion is T-300 (I own one)..... you can upgrade to the T3PA PRO pedals (T-500), you can get many steering wheels to fit on the base/motor unit, and the TH8A shifter can be attached to it for PS4 or X-Box or just used as a USB device for PC. And it is quiet and works well and is priced well for the quality and options available.

Should I just start with the T300 RS rather than the T300 RS GT and then upgrade along the way? Do the T300 all have the same servo base?
Alien Identity Jun 29, 2017 @ 8:14am
The 300's all have the same servo-base. (except the TX servo has a 900 degree limit and will not work with PS4 or PS3...while the standard servo has 1080 degrees and works with PC XBOX or PS4 and PS3).... and that can be bought alone. Maybe just get the cheapest package to get up and going, then upgrade the wheel to what you want later. I have a Ferrari F1 wheel as well as the stock RS wheel. When you can afford it you will want to get the T3PA PRO pedals for the clutch..... but the 3 pedal unit is very good quality and works very well.

T300 RS GT = £349.99
T300 Racing Wheel Servo Base = £229.99
TM Leather 28 GT Wheel Add-On = £139.99
T3PA ADD-ON = £89.99
T3PA-PRO ADD-ON = £149.99
T300RS = £299.99
Ferrari GTE Wheel Add-On Ferrari 458 Challenge Edition = £89.99
Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-On = £129.99

Yes the T-300 wheels are all interchangable..... is quick and easy to do, takes less than 2 minutes.

I own a G29 but have tried the other wheels. The Thrustmaster is the best of those choices. Logitech puts their wheels on sale from time to time, which is how I ended up with the G29.

I just missed a discounted sale on the Thrstmaster T300 RS GT (comes with non-Pro version of the T3PA pedals). Deal expired two days ago. Was about $260 USD; currently $325 USD.

Didn't know either one were about to release a new wheel. Will the servo base be better?

As a g27 owner i would not recomend a logitech wheel because they use really old technoligy (same as g25 which is 11 years old).
