My game won't start??

So I recently bought assetto corsa (less than a week ago, 10/14/17) and I can say that I thouroughly enjoy the game. I've played the game for 7 hours, and i installed a few car and map mods. I had no issue with this game until this monday (10/16/17) when the game stopped working. When i try to launch the game, the dev screen shows for about to seconds, then an error message saying that the Assetto corsa launcher has stopped working, and that windows would notify me fi they found a solution. Has anyone else run into this problem or know how to fix it?

Go to documents and delete the Assetto Corsa folder, then try and start the game. If that doesn't fix it then remove all the Mods you installed.
