G29 problems: broken or repairable?

To keep it short:

My G29 doesn't work anymore. EVERY TIME that I turn the wheel LEFT, about 10 to 100 degrees, the problem appear. Sometimes I hear the Windows USB sound that indicates that a USB device has been removed. And no matter if I hear that sound or not, the buttons on the wheel will all be pressed down. In other words, the keys mapped to change view, turn on lights, look left or right, etc etc, are registered as pressed, when in fact I am not touching any buttons. I downloaded a Wheel Driver Cleaner from Logitech, but it didn't fix anything. So, is it broken, or is this a known problem that can be fixed?

I have tried different USB ports, both USB 3.0 and 2.0. It also happens in any game I try. Thanks in advance for any help!

its seems that early G29 batches were heavily plagued by this, where people been reporting this after few hours of usage. They found out this is due to a short cable in the internals which got damaged really easily, so even if your wheel isn't coming from the first batches, the only way out of this is to claim warranty and leave it repaired.

I had the link to the thread where people were advising on how to fix it on your own, I had it in my bookmarks, but seems that logitech decided to pull the thread down from their forums since its not working anymore :/

Thank you for the reply! My wheel has lasted almost one year compared to "few hours of usage". I'm glad that I am still covered by the warranty!

sorry to hear :/ defo make use of your warranty, it doesn't seem like a SW issue :/

thrustmaster warranty is great,had a problem with my wheel but was still useable and they just sent out a new wheel and pedals and was able to keep the old one :)
