content manager error message - help! I want to drive!

I can't get any track or car to load either using CM or the direct steam way in. I get the following message:

What on earth does all this mean? I have tried earlier versions of custom shaders patch but still get this same garbled message. How can I get back to driving again?

Have you tried going back to the vanilla install?
