LOL. Your virtual steering lock doesn't match your controller lock and you are oversteering to the max.
In AC you have to set up the rotation limits (lock) on your wheel[game controller] to the class of vehicle you are driving. Notice in the games controller setup options you have a slider for rotation- There are multiple ways to set this up correctly and it depends somewhat on the Racing Wheel you are using. The simple way to get your virtual cars wheel rotation to match your controller [the goal] is to instruct the assetto_corsa.ini to set a virtual lock, which will change automatically to match the vehicle you are driving.

In three simple steps:
1: set your game controller ie-Logitech/ Thrustmaster/Fanatec to it's maximum rotation in the game controllers dialogue.
2: navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg and open the folder assetto_corsa.ini and (near the bottom) edit
[SOFT_LOCK]
ENABLED=0 to
[SOFT_LOCK]
ENABLED=1
3: Start up AC, run the controller setup, and then make sure the rotation slider is all the way up, and matches what you had set your Controllers rotation to. (max)

Now you should have perfect 1:1 rotational sync between your virtual wheel and your controller no matter if you are driving a car with a factory lock of 360deg, or 900deg or any in between.

There is a slightly more complicated way of setting this up, (manual) that relies on your controller to set steering lock, and delivers, imo, better ffb and stops, but it's not necessary or feasible unless you have a wheel that allows on the fly wheel adjustments.

Let me know if this helps or if you have Qs'

That jump you are getting in the center is odd,
Mr Crisp Jul 16, 2017 @ 12:38am
Whats been said before, you have to put the wheel on its maximum physical rotation- ie if its a 900 degree lock-to-lock wheel, then put that in AC and don't use anything other.

Also turn off dampening and centre spring in your wheels software.
Ok I will check , thank you guys specially Nikki IXX for providing me with a detailed solution I will surely try and let you all know.
Yes flag 144 I don't know why I'm getting such a jump..it makes driving very difficult :-(

Sounds like this one...

http://www.thrustmaster.com/products/ferrari-458-italia

Which is basically a joybad in a wheel housing and needs to be treated like one. If it's this one however...

...you have FFB and larger rotation, in which case some of the information already posted will help.

There are lots of posts from people with the non FFB version of the wheel across various titles where they are not happy chappies, so, I would be inclined to say the problem is in the wheel itself or, you have a deadzone set somewhere. Though, if you set a deadzone in game, it should react smoothly still.
Manwith Noname 1st of all thanks for providing input 2nd it is my first wheel i didn't wanted to invest much without getting proper exp , this wheel was working fine with assetto corsa few months ago i have played 116 hours on this wheel but i don't know whether its due to update in AC or anyother reason + its working fine with other racing games but i want to play AC only right now :(

Well, it looks to me like the readouts from the potentiometer around the center of the wheel are not registering. This could be due to failure of the pot itself but if you find the behaviour in other games smooth around the center then that would perhaps indicate otherwise, or those games don't read the center values of a controller in the same way.

I can't remember what options AC has for joypads but if there is a sensitivity option, I would try reducing it. This will make those movements around center "less wild".

maybe raising the deadzone value. Just a guess and probably a bad one
Manwith Noname Jul 17, 2017 @ 9:03am
I nearly said that too. I would go for sensitivity first and if that doesn't help, add a small amount of deadzone to shift the zero point and hopefully make the behaviour smoother.
Ok I will try all these tomorrow . Fingers crossed let's see what happens I'm missing AC very much it's an epic racing game
And yes my other racing games Don't do wheel calibration like AC they just treat wheel as joypad so I think it can be possible they my wheel is at fault so I think Manwith Nonname can be right

Something else actually, could just be some dust / dirt in the pot. Maybe some compressed air or switch cleaner will prove useful.
And ya I forgot to mention this happens randomly sometimes it works smoothly like nothing is wrong

That definitely sounds like a pot problem. May just be dirty like Manwith Noname says. But random occurances sounds like hardware problems
