HELP with clutch on G29
Hello
If someone could help me because I cannot configure the clutch of my G29 on assetto corsa.
I have the impression that my clutch is recognized as a button and not an axis because my clutch does everything or nothing but is therefore not like brake or accelerator pedals.

If it works like a button in logitech software/windows too, it's possible that your clutch didn't calibrate properly. Try to unplug the wheel (disconnect it from power too) and restart the PC, then replug (try other USB ports too, including checking different versions of the ports (2.0/3.0)).

I don't have G29 so idk if you could calibrate it manually from original logitech software, but you could try doing it from third party ones like "DIView" or "DXTweak2-x64". Thou im not even sure if modern logitech drivers will allow that. This stuff is pretty automated so with a fault like that i'd expect that the only solution you'll get is using a warranty.


ps: Also check if your wheel is not in some compatibility mode for consoles (i know few wheels had a switch, or button press combination for that) which in theory could deliberately turn the clutch into button. Thou it's a long shot, as modern consoles have no problems with many axis devices.

Unless you have a load cell mod it's a waste of money
24 pounds for equivalence of ticking a checkbox in the wheel setup, having the "convenience" of pedals being not connected to the wheelbase and a brag that you have 10bit pedals, which you won't ever feel the difference anywyas.

I'm driving at HALF the default bitrate on the brakes (so about 8 times less resolution than the bodnar cambe <gasp>) and have no problem picking whatever braking force i need to do alien level laptimes.
