I need to literally stand on my brakes to make any car i drive stop. Is there any way to fix this?

Try changing brake linearity to 1.00 in AC wheel settings if you have not.

Yes, sorry that is the correct word. Don't know what I was thinking about linearity.

I have the G29 (same wheel) and the brake pedal is designed to offer a lot of resistance from 50%'ish braking force. I enjoy it, really stamp on the brakes like you do in a real car driving at pace. Or gentle application for slight braking when cruising, same as in a real car.

I drive a sports car and even this is way too stiff, maybe bc im not wearing shoes.

Wearing shoes does make a big difference. I drive a sports car too (and ride a sportsbike), both require firm applications of the brake to get massive stopping power under hard driving/riding, but will slow reasonably well with a gentle application. To be honest I think they did a reasonable job simulating it (logitech).

Besides brake gamma, try messing around with deadzone reduce the top by 5-10% and try again. Personally I would not recommend going full 1.0 gamma with stock logitech pedals. As you will have too little control over brakes mid corner. So try to balance between more deadzone and ~1.3-1.6 gamma.

Better solution is to either get a full racing rig or get rid of the rubber or w/e is in the brake pedal that makes it hard to press... Or you could even try running clutch as brake pedal, if you drive only GT/Single seaters :P

More options is always better but IMHO i think Logitech overdid it. None of us has the addidional force of our leg/whole body to help press the pedal like it happens in real car, and without a racing rig just bracing required to generate enough braking force becomes pretty unrealistic even if the "force" level is. Also it's slow

Yeah everyone has a different feel for what they like, at first I didn't like it but I kept at it and now I find it perfect for hard straight line braking with good modulation, and the softer part of the action for trail braking etc. Everyone's mileage varies.

Edit - I'm just in a normal dining room chair and I can easily get 100% braking force without putting heavy pressure on the chair. Definitely no issue with it.

Ah thats encouraging. I have G27 and only tried the G920 once, felt like it would be really hard. Guess it really comes down to how everything is set up (position and rigidity wise). Cool :)

Yea im on carpet and my set up is on my desk, If i try to go 100% it slides literally making it impossible to go full force

Got any weights lying around? That's what I used.

You could remove the rubber 'thingie' from the brake pedal (that Logitech decided would be a good idea because who the ♥♥♥♥ knows). That'll give you a more 'free' movement on the pedal across the range.

You've put the teeth down on the pedal box? I have mine in hardfloor and even then it still doesn't slide.
