Use custom settings, it should work for wheels that are not listed as compatible.

I got a wheel so old it's almost made out of wood, but it works (though with a tad lost perfection)

Hi Samantha, please excuse my ignorance, where would I find CUSTOM SETTINGS?

Would this be in Stream setup or the actual game?

In Assetto Corsa Controls settings, Configuration Presets select ' Default ', and on the right select ' Wheel / Custom '.

I have Two Wheel and pedal set, a Logitech G27 & a Logitech DFGT, the G27 is listed in the preset settings, but the DFGT is not, but I was able to still configure the DFGT wheel and pedals.

Why is it taking you so long to figure it out, your first post was almost 18 hours ago.

As I outlined in 3. Make sure you name and save your Custom Settings.

Alextra, i dont know if you done simracing before, its a headache to understand new games as there is no standards (they all name things diffrent, complex menus and contradicting functions).

I cant tell anything about your wheel, but the best we can do is if:
1. you hook up your wheel
2. do as Samantha said: Go to Mainmenu in game, choose controls.
3. It may be hard with the "AXIS" thingy.
4. First: Use the "Calibration" and go thru that.
5. then try to make your controls to work (wheel and pedals)

Do you use ALEXTRA name in game?
My name in game is Hans Lundell.
When we meet i can watch you and maybe see what tunings you need.

Dont give up, and dont be let down by cocky people, we all been new.

I wasn't being cocky, I should have checked his profile and now realise Alextra is new to steam.

Looking at the Assetto Corsa wheel setup page, there is no preset for the DFGT, but I was able to configure it, and get it working in game, there is a few presets for the G27.

So he should be able to configure his wheel and get it working in the game.

Samantha ;) I didn't mean you.
The people on servers that have no pedagogic skills or understanding for anything.
Kicks instead of try to help etc...

So we all three have ancient wheels, i also manage to set my things without any preset wheels.
I think the worst part is to find the physical wheel-degrees, the virutal wheeldegrees so it fits your personal movements.

But as i said, if we meet ingame i can "go with him" and from there see the most obvious and basic adjustments ;)

Sadly things like this can make truly intrested people to give up, even though it's not so very much, it's jsut so many variables and depending on wheels etc taht make it so complex to help too :( <3

He can skip the Wheel Configuration wizard shown in my screenshot, and just configure the wheel and pedals manually.

Yes i think its best, though the confusion in options he may need help to sort out wich is the ones to adjust for specific wishes ;).

Heck, already in my childhood i listened to this ... do i feel a conspiracy? :)

Alextra do you have the' logitech profiler' installed too,it's a bit of software you use to calibrate the wheel before going ingame.

I have the same oldwheel btw,the brake pedal is held together with duct tape lol.
