It looks to be but every lobby I've seen has a password and I'm not sure how to make one or how that goes.

What kind of question is that? of course https://steamcharts.com/app/244210 Most played racing sim online.

Lots of servers up, easy enough to host your own as well, DrSlow is always around with the nordschleife and you can always install Sim Racing System for a more competitive and organised race.

Well I was asking because I see two games with the same title and I was wondering which one was the one with the larger player base
Not the same title, on has an extra word on the end

ACC - Assetto Corsa Competizione is the Blancpain racing series, GT cars and tracks only,
Mr Crisp Mar 8, 2020 @ 4:10am
No need to guess how the online is doing for AC, just look here: https://ac.justrace.net/

Hundreds of servers running.

Thanks for the links. Still learning the tracks but maybe one day:). Apparently we have to book a race or something.

Just curious is there any disadvantage to using paddles and clutch? I don't have an h shifter or anything and that would just be too complex at this time.

Leagues (and passworded servers) is where it's at mostly. Shameless self-promo: http://cosyracingcommunity.com for racing with mostly mid level street cars. Sunday 8 PM UK, fixed custom setups, 15 minute racing heats, custom skins, teams and all that. Practice server online 24/7, search "cosy".

Of course it's alright if that's not in your alley, but maybe it is :)

It is very much alive, but public servers are public servers. You might have a better chance of getting Corona virus than finding a public server where people actually know how to drive.
If you want to drive with people that know how to drive respectfully, you should find a league or a community.

If you like to race vintage cars, we have a nice vintage only community running at https://discord.me/vintageac

Some of our previous races in a playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhRuIVeCh2-NaC9gUKqUPD9b2QtLkOI6v

And if you want try some of our servers to see what the whole deal is, search for VintageAC in your server browser (remove all filters first).

I'm guessing this isnt popular in the US? I see mostly Germany Servers than anything else.
Jonah_Hax Mar 10, 2020 @ 6:11pm
we have a very large percentage of US drivers in our community. Maybe the reason that you don't see many US servers, could be that US are more into consoles while EU loves PC gaming.
Online is active but you'll need the DLC cars and tracks.
