Some Logitech users that have played Pcars may encounter this issue
https://steamcommunity.com/app/737800/discussions/0/1733210552686272214/#c1733210552686360030
It can change the register ID and cause problems with other games afterwards.
c/documents/Assetto Corsa/CFG/controllers You will notice single files with long numbers/letters names - these are USB device ID's detected and a savesetups folder that has file name(s) for your personal controller setup saves that you made within the game setup menu. Delete those files and USB ID's, or delete the whole controller folder and the game will build a new one when launched. Everything within is built from the main game files.
Always, even after a cold start this happens with AC. Doesn't matter which game was used or not used before.
I did Steam integrity check, then uninstall the whole game, deleted Assetto Corsa folder with settings under Documents, the problem stll occours
Clutch pedal is inverted but non inverted doing the same issue.
Here's a new, detailed video (I used Content Manager - independant launcher for AC instead of official Assettocorsa.EXE, but trust me, official launcher has the same bug):
https://youtu.be/w3AtJwXiDo4
As you can see -about half timeof the video- the clutch seems to be OK, but later gone wrong again as i select another car to drive
Not only it's not full throttle but also as soon as you change gears impossible/strange stuff happens. That is, it's impossible to recreate what happens in that video in a normally working game by actively trying to. So the issue has to be something else than the input itself.
My guess it's a CM or a mod doing something. Just because you run normal launcher it does not mean that any kind of modifications done by Content Manager aren't used. So what you need is a clean AC install and then load mods in sequence looking at when the game brakes. Chances are that a mod is corrupted and game will be fine even after reinstalling all of them.
Pedals plugged into wheel base or USB?
Instead, go into CM, setup your controls, SAVE the preset. This should help.
It's possible something is also wrong in the logitech driver profiler.
What was happened? The same issue from the start. Then i remap clutch, then clear the clutch procedure made that car driveable. Until i've changed a car to another, Then same issue occoured. If I set clutch pedal, remap and clear again, then the second car became driveable. (I did a test to switch back to the previous car, and that was still driveable! So the game remembered that car)
Then i did change to a third car and everything started from the beginning...
Now seems I have to set/clear the clutch for every car in this game which is a non sense
Also i find if i change Assist (automatic clutch) for a car then something also happen may the car become un-driveable, or even driveable
Nothing wrong with the Logitzech driver / profiler, everything seems prettty good if i check in windows controllers module, every other games run without trouble
I wil upload a longer video soon.
"....my pedals doesn't work on the track, though it get recognized in the asseto corsa menu, logitech game profile and others games aswell, just when I start the road it doesn't respond at all, sometimes restarting it get recognized but inmediatly the next race changing vehicule stops working constantly......" Do not use a universal USB hub extension, plug directly into MB.

It was a hard job, but i managed to write down a timeline what i did try...
0:00 First start Assetto Corsa after a clean boot (PC)
1:17 Everything seems pretty good - gas, brake, RPM etc.
1:37 Change random car model in menu
2:25 After changing a car the pedal issue occours (look at pedal app on screen)
4:00 I set and clear clutch pedal in AC menu
5:00 Everything seems pretty good again
5:30 Switch to another random car model
6:22 Pedal issue occours again after switching a car
7:00 Set and clear clutch in AC menu for the same car
7:47 Everything seems pretty good again
8:29 Start again with the same car, without touching any setup
9:08 Everything still seems pretty good
9:23 Switch to a random car model
10:00 Pedal issue occours again after switching a car in AC menu
10:22 Switch back to a car model which has already worked fine
10:59 The car which was set earlier (KTM) still works well - even after switching a model
11:33 Switch back to the car which has pedal issue before the last one to check
12:15 same car has same issue (Mustang)
12:25 Set and clear clutch in AC Controls menu
13:20 Pedal issue however id did set and clear clutch pedal
13:30 Set and clear clutch again in AC Controls menu
14.20 Pedal issue however id did set and clear clutch pedal again
14:30 Change automatic clutch in Assist menu
15:15 Everything still seems pretty good because Automatic clutch assis has set to different
15:37 Change automatic clutch in Assist menu to different to check
16:20 Pedal issue again, after just changing the Automatic Clutch Assist
16:35 Change automatic clutch in Assist menu to different to check again, may it works...
17:17 Pedal issue, however i did change Automatic Clutch Assist - this point i got mad
17.30 I give a try to switch Auto Clutch again to test
18:17 Nothing has changed, still Pedal issue occours
18:26 Set and clear clutch pedal in AC Controls menu again
19:20 Voilá! Mustang's pedals works like charm
19:50 Change Clutch Assists to check what's happen then
20:28 Pedal issue again, however this car was OK after a pedal set/clear procedure - only the assist has changed
I'm afraid i did check all the variations. Seem the pedal issue is a software bug and not related to the hardware (Logitech G27) The pedals works fine in any other racing game (Dirt Rally 2.0, Assetto Corsa Competizione, pCars2, Euro Truck Sim 2 etc.)
I did uninstall/reinstall AC, did delete AC folder in Documents, did a Steam integrity check, nothing has a cure yet.
Thanks for your kind help, guys!
Then i realized, that all the related Logitech game profilers still alive! wtf
I goggle it and then i found these settings are stored in "C:\Users\--YourUserName--\Appdata\Local\Logitech\Logitech Gaming Software\Profiles" and i deleted allt the Logitech folder, but still had an issue with the gas/clutch pedal...
Then later i found a solution!
On my PC my login user is a simple ordinary user and i also use Root user as a superadmin -as all users should do the same in this galaxy to keep PC's health safe- so i also deleted "C:\Users\Root\Appdata\Local\Logitech\Logitech Gaming Software\Profiles" folder then... VOILA! Everything seems work like charm.
Thanks for your kind help guys!
I'm over the moon now
or make it work again?
