Content Manager Custom Shaders Patch error message - what does it mean? Cars won't launch...
The message says "Attempt to infiltrate AC process failed: Can't find... blah blah blah"
Anybody else who uses content manager had this? Can I delete the custom shaders patch? How? Even if I answer Yes to the last question about if I want to continue without the CSP, the car still won't launch.
Any help appreciated because I really liked using content manager - I think it's an amazing tool - if it works properly!

You can remove, re-install, or install other versions of csp in content manager/settings/custom shaders patch. Look at the top left menu - about & updates. Try to reinstall with recommended version 0.1.25-preview140.
btw. Did you try to run the game with "force-32bit" checked in settings? Also, check your game resolution settings.

Thank you mmmarac. In CM updates there is an error message that says “Assetto Corsa is obsolete (v1.16.3 is required) How do I update to this version? I though AC was no longer supported since ACC came out. How can there be newer versions then?

If you bought the game, you must have the latest version installed - 1.16.3. ;)

Yes my copy of AC is legally owned bought through Steam ages ago! CM does also say that I do have the latest version installed - so it is giving me conflicting messages...

I have the same problem today

me too
I had the same problem. If the name of the root folder of AC includes a non-western character changing the name may fix your problem.

The problem must be with your acs.pdb file. If you've clicked the option to replace acs.pdb with the recommended version in CM, and you get that error message when you try to start a race, then what you could do is:

1. Have another copy of Assetto Corsa (or a place where you can get the original acs.pdb from or even another copy of the pdb file)
2. Replace the acs.pdb file in your Assetto Corsa folder

I'm not really a tech wiz but this is what solved it for me. I hope this helps!

I managed to solve it by checking the 'use 32 bit version' box in content settings/content manager/drive
