Anyway to stop that silly menu that pops up when you start a game
its really annoying when your VR set is on the othersuide of the room, and you need to angle the headset to see the driving wheel icon walk over the other side of the room and click the steering wheel

The 'silly' menu is where you do your car setups etc...but alternatively...stick a cheapo wireless mouse next to your wheel.

I agree though...the menus etc are not designed well...I don't know if we ever got console type controls or not for the menus.

On a side thought...I use JoyToKey to map things like 'ESC' and head centering to buttons on my wheel.

There is a solution to get the race to start immediatly and that is to download and use the alternative launcher Assetto Corsa Content Manager.

In AC:CM there is an option under DRIVE in settings that has an option to start race immediately- what this does is load to track and immediately you are on the grid with no menu to click, the race countdown starts and off you go.

Enjoy.

Never happen, just use Content Manager.

It's not too bad if you actually race, i personnally play on track days, no need for that so i found a way to get rid of it
