Pimax 4K? Anyone playing on this?

Just the basics, will my VR headset the Pimax 4K work with this, of coarse it's a basic unit. Therefore lacks hand controllers. I know this title works with mouse/keyboard or gamepad all of which I have...yet it lists only the occulus and vive as accepted sets it seems, and usually the Pimax works with WMR type setups (yet not always)...so does ANYONE else here use this setup, and if so how well does everything jive together? Thanks for any and all info, trying to make my mind up between this and Cars 2 which is newer although with a slightly smaller player base...

Had a pimax4k years ago till I dropped it. it worked on assetto and project cars 1, dirt rally, not one oculus game it didn't work on.

I can't seem to get dirt rally working with it, anything special I have to do?

it was a pain to get working. i cant remember how i got working may have been revive or from oculus home but it does work. The first time using oculus on dirt rally was a bit of a pain.

Dirt Rally doesn't have SteamVR which is what you will need to use in order to get all VR HMDs to work with a game. Dirt Rally only has the Oculus Rift runtime included for use in VR, so you either need to use one of those for native VR play or use ReVive to patch in and hook it into SteamVR so you can use it with your Pimax 4k.

Assetto Corsa can work with both Rift and SteamVR VR HMDs, this includes all Windows Mixed Reality, Vive, Pimax VR HMDs, etc.

Pimax was a good vr headset if you have oculus home installed you can use all their games and run pimax as if its a rift.
