shaders light patch adding winter textures to nordschleife unexpectedly?
I have added "shaders light patch" as part of the "Sol" weather mod installation and it's basically running fine.

But I then bought the Kunos DLC with the Nordschleife track and it has winter textures on it (trees and track). And when I disable "shaders light patch", the winter textures are gone and it's regular green trees and such. Of course then I don't have any of the nice "Sol" weather effects.

I've checked to be sure I'm not seledting any "snow" settings for Sol, but it doesn't usually change track textures anyway as far as I've seen.

I haven't installed any Winter Mods for Nordschleife, so I can't figure out where they are coming from. It doesn't affect any track, from Kunos or others.

Any clues? Is it part of "Sol" or something? Changing the temperature setting doesn't change anything and I've never seen a seasons setting in AC.

Kunos Nordschleife is the only track affected by the way, I also have "Snoopy's Nord" installed and it is not affected nor any other track out of hundreds.

Okay, for people's future reference, there's a specific date setting (month/day) buried in the content manager "triple dot" menu by the time slider. Needs a bit of a UI upgrade I think, even FSX which uses real time/date by default shows the settings on the main menu page for time setting. Change the date to something that's not typically winter where your track is located, and the snow will go away.

Thx for sharing dude!
I was wondering about that, but thought it would probably change, once winter is gone in Germany.
:steamhappy:
I'm not usually one to necro old threads but....

This ended a lot of frustration for me!
I couldn't figure out why I kept getting winter textures for nordschleife.

Thanks for the answer!
Thanks. This one helped me today!
Same here! Thanks .. 2 years later :).... I was driving on tracks like Road America and wondering why my tire temperatures never went up, then I realized it was 0 degrees C here in the real world lol.
You can just disable the setting in CSP.
Open Content Manager, go to Settings, Custom Shader Patch, TRACK ADJUSTMENTS, then uncheck "allow seasonal adjustments".
