If that is the URD car it might be in the AC Sounds section at Race Department . Advance search> Search resources tab then type in 2018 Ford GT and select Sounds will narrow it down.

I want the car and the sound, not just the sound.

2018 URD Detroit EGT it is a paid mod found on the United Racing Design website. I have most if not all of their cars and they are reliable. You will get the sound as outlined above if it is the correct one.

Some ppl do not like paying for mods and want everything free however I go the other way and say I am happy to pay for good quality done properly mod that get updated. Both URD and RSS (Race Sim Studio) mods are a very safe bet . Race Department and F1 Classic forum is another good site with a lot of free stuff including some 5/5 star mods for sure. There are others but can be a bit of a lottery.

ACFAN sound mod is separate from the car? Two separate downloads for a paid mod? Seriously?

Sound mod is here, URD's car is on their website.
The sound should come with the car!

There are sounds that come with the car, the mod replaces them with higher quality ones made by a different person... why is that so hard to understand?

A paid mod should come with the higher quality sounds. You shouldn't have to mod a mod car you paid for to make it sound good.

It has perfectly fine sounds, I personally don't use the sound mod.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Yeah except all of these "improved sounds" or "improved sounds" or "improved graphics" mods are all HIGHLY SUBJECTIVE, they're not produced by the manufacturer or a professional sound engineer. So assuming that some random twonk on the internet has the "higher quality sound mod" is making a MASSIVE assumption, and not valid for making a complaint against the original developers.
I've found that a TON of the "improvement" mods online are just things that increase the sound volume, add extra exhaust roar or turbo whistle, blast out the graphics with cartooney HDR, add physics based only on performance tables and no practical sim testing, etc., I.E. a lot of just increasing the sensations, NOT achieving more realism.
