Assetto Corsa

Assetto Corsa

Statistiche:
How many car mods do you have? (Including DLC cars).
Im currently Sitting at 599 cars, and downloading 4-5 more today to test. I go through each one and drive a lap or ten around the Okayama Circuit. I've tested each one (Not all of the kunos cars for they don't need physics testing and what not) and so far:

- 122 of them have V8 tyres or lower
- 344 of them have v10 tyres
- I only have the Dream Pack 1 and Japanese Pack DLC

I literally spend a good 20-45 minutes in each car setting up their cockpit camera views, testing their FFB feel and response, and if i really like them i give the cars a 5Star rate on Content Manager to rememeber they felt good for later use. I dont car about graphics too much, but if the car interior and exterior are pretty its a bonus! for me, the physics, FFB feel and the sound are the most important parts of a god car mod for me. What about you guys?

Jesus, any tips on quality mods? Cause the only place i could find some good decent ones were form Private Facebook Groups i had to join, and especially BZ Simworks mods and such.

Do you mean you dont know Racedepartment?
I got some 250 cars including all DLC, even that is an massive amount, and imo having very good mods is more important than having an astronomic amount of them, no way you can have time to drive (I mean drive in depth and not just take them out for a spin) 1000 different cars. Racedepartment has some of the best free mods, Seat Leon TCR is imo the best free car mod in Assetto Corsa, and as if that wasn't enough the author is making a heavily updated version. V8SCorsa is also great if you are into touring cars, those are something AC sorely lacks. If you don't mind paying for really great mods, RSS GT1, Formula Hybrid, URD T5 (modern DTM cars) and DRM revival are great.

Though if physics and FFB are important then what you should do is get all DLC. Not a lof of car mods are Kunos standard in that regard

I see @Hoksu.

and yes i know Racedepartment @Tu tía en bragas what i meant was, another place besides the most popular (assettocorsa-db, acmods, RD and stuff). And yea... I've payed for some mods but i am upset its all in Euros for i live in North America and the conversion rate from eruos to CAD is pretty huge. paying is an option for me, but i dont know if its worth it sometimes. I've only gotten a pack with open wheelers from the 60's F1 and the Rally Legends: Delta S4. So far, i regret the f1 car pack i got for they are all just similarly tamed versions of the lotus type 49 physics with different brands and looks :/
The S4 on the other hand was worth it for the Gravel, tarmac and HC versions of the car, with really decent physics and feel.

I never heard of V8SCorsa, so im downloading their cars for sure. And like i said, i have 340+ cars that (IMO) feel pretty good, so if you guys are sitting around 250 good modded cars including DLC then i should be on the right track. My goal is to get a "garage" Full of different cars from varying disciplines so i can have fun doing it all. From F1, Calssic DTM, Modern DTM, Touring, GT Cup Racing and even street cars for track days - I want a good amount of cars to play with (Like i hope others do too). It just sucks that half of them don't work, look or sound as good as some others (Especially payed mods). But if you are able to suggest some cars perhapes that went under my radar on RD or on another website or FB group just let me know for i would love to test them!

[UPDATE] I have to add now - I tested the V8SCorsa cars... AND THEY ARE FANTASTIC! Overwhelmingly positive. I really dont know what to say than thankyou for recommending that touring car pack!

You'll want to get the Porsche Pack DLCs, they're cheap, and the mid level racing cars are absolute joys to drive on basic track testing.
