Open Windows Settings from the Windows menu. Select Apps. Scroll down the list of installed apps until you see the Steam client. Click on it, then select Uninstall.

Once it's uninstalled, open whatever internet browser you normally use, go to www.steampowered.com, and install the Steam client again. Then log back into Steam. You might need to point it toward youe existing Steam folder before you can access your games again.

So I've just reinstalled it and I have to install all my games again. Meh I don't mind I only really play 6. I'll Re-install Assetto and I'll give you a shout if it works or not.

You shouldn't need to reonstall everything. Just point each game toward your old existing Steam folder.

Should you ever need to do this again, once you've reinstalled the Steam client and logged in, select each program, tell Steam to install it, choose your original Steam folder as the location. Steam will verify your files, but it shouldn't need to redownload anything. Much faster to do it that way.

Oh, Didn't know that. Well it still doesn't work so I don't know now. City Car Driving doesn't want to fire up either.

Trying running Steam directly. If you try to open a game via a link, it will not update and hence "Steam can't be initialized".
