To Tyre Blanket Or Not To Tyre Blanket, That Is The Question.
Hello good old sim- racers!

I am starting an AC career and I thought to ask if someone can recommend me whether I should use tire blanket or not in each series (N, I, T, IT, H, GT, F1).

My only one measure is simulation, I mean whether they or not use the tire blankets in each of those series.

Hint, when I used to drive F1 we used to use them, in the good old days.

You.... were an F1 driver? I have a hard time believing this, but it's also not impossible since this is AC. Nice Land Cruiser btw! 80s series here too!

Those square cup holders though.. :P

I'm guessing from this video that they use the blankets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcfArvRvMwA

So, GT do cars use it.

I THINK some of the other series are not present in real life (correct me if I am wrong), and I also THINK that a low powered car like a Fiat Abarth has never seen a tyre blanket in her life.

But, more experienced guys can give better answers than what I think.

I am searching for answers like "In a real life championship (X) that looks like (Y) AC series, they do or do not use tyre blanket.

OR

You need to learn to warm up your tyres at first lap.

OR

You need to focus on driving consistently, and you need to eliminate other factors.

I was referring to GT only. The others are probably fake, besides F1.

If you like wasting time warming up tyres then don't use them.

If you are too stupid to understand the objective of trying to learn racing real life as real as possible, you are not forced to post stupid comments.

It is real hard, to get the tyres to the optimal temperature in a real track car, you maybe have never seen a track in your life so I will excuse your stupid comment.

Do not worry, you did not do a very big mistake, we learn a new thing every day.

I see mate, so it is probly only GT and F1 that use blankets before a race.

Thank you!

Are you talking like this because nobody knows your real name, PREDATOR? A former F1 driver without anonymity wouldn't say something like that, unless it's Kimi.
