LOL Can't even get out of first gear without stalling

So I'm on the VERY FIRST EVENT in career mode, I have my foot on the clutch, I hit the gas and gain enough RPMs to keep the car from stalling. Let go of the clutch and the wheels spin, but if I ease off of the gas the car stalls, so I try to put it in second, with high RPMs and the car stalls. Umm what??

Are you sure, as far as I know Assetto corsa does not have a vehicle stall feature, as you can't manually start the vehicle engine.

I see you are currently playing project cars 2, which does have a engine stall feature, it is quite annoying to me, as the vehicle seems to stall a lot with me, because I enabled manual engine start, re-enabling this feature to automatic engine start does not stop the car engine from stalling.

Just making sure you have not posted in the wrong game forum, as you last played Assetto Corsa Three Days ago.

Brakes on, or handbrake on? Check bindings for both brakes.

Check if brake pedal is inverted. (look in main menu / controls / steering )..... that would make brakes on full when pedal is not touched.

it turns out I needed to invert my handbrake! Thanks for the suggestions guys!
