With the FFBClip app, go into the apps folder in AC where you put it and edit the FFBClip.ini and change the parameters so that PreferAutoMode=1 is set and that you set PreferedProfile=2 then save it and reload AC- then take a car out and drive it around a few laps for the FFBclip to auto give max FFB at the expense of clipping.
Every car you drive, if new since installing FFBClip app will take a bit of a drive for it to auto dial in and then you will find strong FFB- I personally use Strong but then I have a belt driven Fanatec wheel.
Now, if you download and use Assetto Corsa Content Manager, a far better launcher than the vanilla one, in the settings for that launcher you get an additional FFB settings for post processing and that will add extra centre strength and post processing gain amount- so try it, it will give you the feel you are probably looking for.

When using the WheelCheck tool the default and instructions show to set "Max Count" to 50 but I've found much nicer results setting it to 200. Make sure to read the instructions on how to add the new calibrated whel files into the game as there are 2 locations to add then into, the steam folder and also the Assetto Corsa folder within your "Documents". Good luck.
I found this thread was the best for setting up my DFGT wheel: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/rasmusps-lut-guide-for-g27-29-and-dfgt.16799/. It's comprehensive and really transformed the FFB for me. The gyro setting makes a big difference. You definitely need to install the Logitech Gaming software. You only get half the settings without it - get it here: http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/driving-force-gt/downloads#windowsPnlBar.
Thanks very much for the response and links, I really appreciate it. I had already found the wheel check and LUT generator. Thanks for the Logitech link.
I never found fro generator instructions that I had to install it in Steam folder. I will go back and have a look.
Thank you for the response I will check it out.
So with all your suggestions ( I haven't done them all yet as I have spent soooo much time on this already) I have a better driving experience, I can enjoy it much more, the FFB clip app is really good now. Not as good as Automobilista or GTR2 though.
I wanted to thank you all for the responses you have been very helpful and I really appreciate it.
