No showroom or in-game graphics

Good morning,
updated the game from 1.09 to the latest 1.16- and now whenever i go to view the cars in the showroom all i get is a black screen (no connection to pc).

There are background sounds/music and i can do things like open doors just I can't see anything.
When loading the selected car and track there's no loading-screen just the same black screen (no connection to pc) until the game loads and then sometimes I have graphics and can play the game but most of the time i still can't see anything so I have to exit back to the main screen and everything is fine again.

The issue is to do with the showroom and on track graphics where let's say, the game is struggling to switch between main menu graphics and in-game graphics.

(at no point does the game crash as i can hear the ai drive off into the distance)

I'm running an old rig on a tv-screen but everything was working fine before i updated the game.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated.

You can try a full reinstall, delete the game from your stam inventory, locate Assetto corsa folder in "My Documents" and delete that folder. Restart PC and then reinstall the game from steam.

If that doesn't work I'd try to rollback your graphics driver to an older one too see if the problem persists.

I checked the nvidia driver and it was still the original one i was using in 1.9 so i loaded up 1.9 (cracked version in a different folder) and it worked perfectly! I can't figure it out.

Updated the nvidia driver and still the same problem, can't see the cars in the showroom or in-game. Everything is working perfectly it's just the graphics don't seem to be "kicking in". Also while i am loading a car and track I can't see a loading screen. just a black screen and "no signal pc" then the game loads and starts but still blackness and that's as far as i can go. Then i have to "find" the exit and once back in the main menu the graphics revert back to normal.

The weird thing is as i've mentioned my old cracked 1.9 version of the game still works perfectly. i'm going to unistall everything including the old version and start again :(

For whatever reason every time i load a car in the showroom or head out on the track I have to press (tab+Enter) and then the screen flicks to game/graphics mode if that makes sense?
I have no idea why and since i installed 1.16-3 it's been that way. Oh well, At least I know it's working i guess

Install content manager launcher.

then from within that install custom shaders patch.

now showroom will work fine and you'll have an ocean of tweaks and settings to play around with.
