So my Thrustmaster-trusty steering wheel died after 10+ years of good times while driving in all kinds of racing games. As i am too poor to afford a new one and their prices have shot up in sky, i wondered if i could use my phone as controller. The question is that if it's bannable as it technically is 3rd party app?

i think you can but the lag between turning IRL and turning in game would be horble
