too low top speed at the straights
hello everyone...I have noticed that when I'm driving my top speed is low compared to other cars in the circuit ...they are pulling away from me very easy...I drive a GT2 car BMW M3 and still cannot catch up any GT3 cars... it was still the same when i as driving the GT3 cars...like have no power , anyone knows what is happening? no matter what setup I have still the same , gaining 2-5 kms is not working ...the accelaration is struggling

The big drag is the body of the car. The angle of the nose result different pressure between the low & high pressure. if done right it can reduce drag & increase top speed to win easy & effortless by simply adding magic digit in the setup menu.

yeah you right about this this one..but I use more or less the base setup ...I do not think the AI is doing any mods in the set up . but cannot keep up with a GT3 car?

Hello, GT2 is not faster than GT3 on the straights.

Hemuli is right. Have to look in the AI settings to see if cars can be individually adjusted. I use CM and like to race the Bathurst Ford, Charger and Holden Mods. The modified XB coupe and A9X Torana are much quicker so I set those two to cars AI Strength to 96/97% and the rest I leave at 100%. We seem to go around the track with good battles and they no longer disappear off into the horizon never to be seen again.

You getting full range from your throttle/pedal?
Mr Deap May 15, 2019 @ 5:39am
I'm pretty sure it's something dumb no one share about as usual.
Maybe looking up see if something is missing & improve your pace dramatically by inserting magic number or some driving input knowledge with videogame physic in mind.

Positive I did check more than one time at the software and in the game calibration

at he corners everything seem ok..cause I stay right behind them almost touching them but a soon as go for the long straight..they are pulling away

is the 1:49 low 1:48 high bad time with a BMW M3 GT2 at the nurburging F1 lay out ?

I think you got something mixed up there.. A 1:49 would be about 8 seconds faster than the WR on RSR currently.. Which is -not to put down your driving ability, but- nonsensical.

A 1:59 however would make more sense and is a decent time, for a non-alien driver. I'd probably be around that time myself.

yep ur right ...1:59.202 I last checked...

Dunno than Rooker, maybe you are not braking late enough or getting on the throttle too late. Upload a video and someone will probably help you out. You can learn a lot joining a good league, usually someone that will take you under the wing. I'm assuming you use manual gearshifts and just TCS/ABS when needed?

sounds like your just exiting corners slower so they seem to be pulling away down the straights

no..cause I seems to catch up at corners ... in ''tighter'' sectors I am faster

I may be too silly and obvious, but sometimes thats the answer.
So if pure topspeed is where you losing the seconds and we leave the controllers out its rear or front wing or gear ratios.

To complicate things i can feel the same - even under acceleration.
I seem to lose a couple of seconds, my only thought of that is that my wheel is old (though it works the whole "range" in settings) and my only conclusion is that my wheel miss out that last "exactness" (word) of actually GIVE me full range even it says so,

"To set up a car is not just raise this and lower that".
Even if there are "standard adjustments" for all kinds of wishes, whatever you change - something else is effected, so thats the magic of setupmasters, the variations are almost endless.
So for example, i thionk even Camber/toes also can efect topspeed (for example).
The day you understand that ... pls call me and force the braintwisting knowledge to me <3

If you undestood im glad, if not im sorry for better explanation ;)
