Changing shift type (in game)?

Can someone tell me how to change my options from H-shifter to paddles. or vice-versa, while in game pls?
Im pretty new. Started driving online, and keep getting stuck in the pits and not able to change gear lol. I then have to exit back to options screen to change...

Please someone tell me theres a keyboard shortcut somewhere, or how to access my driving options (manual/auto, assists etc), while in pits...its killing my online experience :(

Go to options in main menu then look for Controls, click that then look at top for shifters option
the first 2 blocks say Gear shift up the other is Down click your paddles for your wheel to assign if you want auto shift then un check the use seperate shifter option

there is also another way to change shifting. Click the wheel picture look for assists realism you will see gamer racer pro under each there are options for automatic gearbox clutch ext. hope that helps

Ingame (on the track) you can't switch between shifter and paddles (if you have both enabled in the options), you'll have to use whatever the car has. But you can switch between manual and auto with Ctrl+G

Thanks guys! Hopefully Ctrl+G is what im looking for.
I dont think ive got both the paddles, and the shifter enabled. I thought enabling one, disables the other.
If i can have them both enabled, then happy days! :) As long as it picks one, and i can move its all good.
