Essentials app

My essentials app is completely gone. When I played the game initially, it was working fine. Then, I opened the game another time, and the app has completely vanished. I've re-installed the entire game and tried different maps, and the essentials app is completely gone. I'm talking about the one that shows your speed, lap time, and some other things (I've forgotten), and not having it is pretty annoying. Any ideas?

Ctrl+H ? I am not 100% sure. I use the panel on RHS to tweak because I don't really have any HUD on my screen.

Ctrl+H isn't doing anything for me. What's RHS?

If you hover your mouse cursor all the way over to the right of the screen a full length panel should come out and you can highlight Essential Apps or any other app you have in the list.

LOL. Bit rusty with the AC options but maybe now you have the Essentials activated Ctrl + H might hide the app and Ctrl + U cycles them?. It is something along those lines. I use button boxes but never remember what does what at 110 mph and generally come unstuck just trying to turn the stinking lights on.

Yeah, I'm pretty new so I tend to try to do something just to find that something completely different is happening and confuse tf out of myself as I fly through a barrier lol

I dont know how low the level of pedagogic is, but this game sure got some stupid and unessecary screens/menus and use of the mouse instead of just use button as in Race 07.

Prime example when during driving have to fibble for the fukken mouse to get the cursor there to chat, instead of have the cursor 'already ready' to just concentrate what to write, the other is instead of just press and hold ESC for 1 sec, here you have to stop the bloody car first..then fibble for the fukken mouse and then get the cursor to the "back to pits" then press it...
(during that time you can ruin 10 people instead of just get out instant).

And yes, complicated f***ing menus, for some reason my minimap dissapears at times even though i havent touch that rightside menu.

Nuff frustration, essentially see you out there

Yeah, I really hate how if you pause the game to talk to someone or any other reason where you'll unpause the game in a moment, you can't just press esc again, you have to move your mouse and press "Resume". I don't usually play online multiplayer that much, but I really hated how you have to completely stop your car before opening the menu. But yeah, I can deal with it for now.

In Content Manager you can map functions like return to pits or pause the game using buttons etc. Some are not default options available in AC so they only work via CM or a python shortcut app. I am not 100% sure of the full functionality of either option because it is easier to be anti-social than to add more stinking button options to the mess I already have. Return to the pits is usually when my transmission is scattered out on the track for half a mile and my car is dead anyway.

Hehe ok, now ofcourse i couldn't program better myself, but I stay stock after all because my xp with any mods is they always flip out sometime.
I'm not the one into files and fibble (put right files in correct places, unpack,extracting, and on top of that same kinda mods, i.e cars shall be put in diffrent locations depending on wich mod etc...)

Im already on my way to the lunatic asylum, so that would trigger my last ounce of sanity (: ]
