Then why did i go from 4th to 3rd place (in bottom overview) just after crossing the line (not during last lap) even though i didnt pass any car? And in the bottom you can see how many seconds slower the other drivers are than the first place, it looks to be the total time from all laps. This is in career mode
So why doesnt that bar at the bottom update when i pass a bunch of cars just after starting the race?
That doesnt really check out, if that was the reason, the 2nd car would also go fast as the car ahead doesnt interfere with his driving at all.
Just so we're on the same page here, im talking about a huge difference, the 2nd car is often 14 seconds behind.. Is that normal?
Got some proper answers elsewhere. The 3rd place mightve been in pit, and "The bottom of the screen updates after each lap only, based on crossing the line first, not lap time."
