HELP! Wheel not working with content manager!
I need help. I have a Fanatec CSL Elite (PS4) which works fine when I play the game through Steam, but, when I try to play with Content Manager, I get nothing at all. Tried making another preset, tried making a preset within the AC launcher and tried just about every single solution I could find on the internet and not a single one has worked. I notice that the keyboard works fine, even though I un-mapped everything from the Keyboard settings tab. Someone help me! Have I missed something?

Thought they were one in the same and CM only reads the AC game folder settings.

On the Drive page in CM on the bottom left there is a check box Car specific controls with(once enabled) a drop down option. Check if that is set to Default or your new custom preset and try that.

Once sorted(Optional)

I did change mine after suffering every time I jumped in a new car it would be at Kunos default and I had to exit the race and set it to my preset which was a pain in the a*** after a while and my pre-race checklist memory just wasn't improving.

I took the original Kunos Default preset from the AC folder

YourDrive:\DOCUMENTS\Assetto Corsa\cfg\controllers\presets

and placed it in a folder in my docs (for backup). I then copied my new preset from the savedsetups

YourDrive:\DOCUMENTS\Assetto Corsa\cfg\controllers\savedsetups

renamed it Default and put it where the original was. YourDrive:\DOCUMENTS\Assetto Corsa\cfg\controllers\presets

Probably only if I Verify game files via Steam I would have to replace the Default again but I kept a backup of my custom preset JIC. Every car I use now is mapped and good to go.

Edit - Should point out I only used the Car specific controls to set my wheel and devices up up then if you do the (optional) you can un-check that box so it uses the new default on all cars you load.

Thanks for the suggestion. I fixed it all up last night. I ended up deleting all the presets from the Content Manager and made up my own preset. Everything is all good, now :D
